    Hike down the creek to the lower Oneonta Falls and back out. (This section is not a true trail). Then along the Oneonta trail following Oneonta Creek, passing upper and lower Oneonta falls and then Triple falls. Keep right on Oneonta at the intersection with Horsetail Creek trail. Follow Oneonta Trail to the intersection with Franklin Ridge Trail, and then turn right onto Franklin Ridge Trail. Take Franklin Ridge trail to Larch Mountain Trail #441, turning right. From there continue along Larch Mountain trail #441 following Multnomah creek. At the intersection with Larch Mountain Trail #420, keep right, heading towards Multnomah Falls. Take the Spur (to the left) where Larch Mountain Trail turns into Multnomah Creek trail to overlook the falls. Double back & continue down Multnomah Falls Trail to the Gorge Trail #400. (If you want, to the bottom of Multonomah Falls and back is approx 3/4 of a mile). Keep right to follow the Gorge Trail back to the Oneonta Creek trailhead. The trail splits right before, keep left.
