Our Calorie Calculator estimates how many Calories you will burn using Metabolic Equivalent (MET) values from Compendium of Physical Activities. The Compendium idenitifes the relative energy cost of undertaking various activities compared with doing nothing. We then combine this with your weight and the estimated duration of the activity, taking into account the length of the route and the hills involved, to estimate the total Calories burned.
When selecting an Activity setting, select the speed you would normally travel at on flat ground.
Please remember, the estimated number of Calories is just a guide and the actual number of Calories burned may vary depending on other factors such as weather and terrain.

From Pump Rooms run down the bottom of the Parade – at the traffic lights under the bridge turn R onto High St/Old Warwick Rd – keep going straight past train station and Morrisons – at the roundabout turn L and head towards McDonalds – at next roundabout take first exit to go past retail park – keep going straight down Tachbrook Park Drive – at the roundabout by Warwick Gates turn L onto Heathcote Lane – at the roundabout by Hungry Horse pub go straight over – at traffic lights go L onto Tachbrook Rd – run all the way to the bottom of this road (to junction by the train station) – DECISION TIME …
* For 6k – turn R onto High St then 1st L back to pump rooms.
* For 8k – turn R onto High St but keep going (turns into Radford Rd) – just after Sainsburys Local turn L onto Willes Rd – continue up the hill till the traffic lights junction with Newbold Terrace – turn L and run down Newbold Terrace back to pump rooms … then run around until your watch says 8km
