Our Calorie Calculator estimates how many Calories you will burn using Metabolic Equivalent (MET) values from Compendium of Physical Activities. The Compendium idenitifes the relative energy cost of undertaking various activities compared with doing nothing. We then combine this with your weight and the estimated duration of the activity, taking into account the length of the route and the hills involved, to estimate the total Calories burned.
When selecting an Activity setting, select the speed you would normally travel at on flat ground.
Please remember, the estimated number of Calories is just a guide and the actual number of Calories burned may vary depending on other factors such as weather and terrain.

Start at the gates near the Boat house and leave St Nicholas park turning left up and over the bridge towards the roundabout and left onto Myton road. Continue all the way down Myton Road until you reach the large roundabout by pets at home and turn left onto Princes Drive, run down here past the tip and continue until you reach the next roundabout where you again turn left onto Warwick New Road. Continue down hill past the dogs trust, over the Pottertons bridge, over the Tesco bridge, past Homebase and make a left turn back into St Nicholas Park before you reach Sainsbury's. *7K OPTION - continue running straight ahead to the end of Coten End and turn R up Priory Rd - sharp L down The Butts and back into the park running until you reach 7K
