    This walk is 10 miles along tracks, field and woodland paths and some short stretches of minor roads. A few easy stiles and no long ascents or exposed locations.
    The route goes from Sands to Thongsbridge church then Brockholes and Magdale. Through the woods to Netherton and Magdale Vinery then White Rose Forest. Ascend to Honley Wood and then across some muddy paths to Oldfield. Across fields to descend to the Cricketers Pub and return to Sands via Netherthong village.
