Our Calorie Calculator estimates how many Calories you will burn using Metabolic Equivalent (MET) values from Compendium of Physical Activities. The Compendium idenitifes the relative energy cost of undertaking various activities compared with doing nothing. We then combine this with your weight and the estimated duration of the activity, taking into account the length of the route and the hills involved, to estimate the total Calories burned.
When selecting an Activity setting, select the speed you would normally travel at on flat ground.

Leave the Pump Rooms along Dormer Place - turn R onto Dale St and then immediate L onto Milverton Hill - at the end turn L onto Warwick New Road - continue straight, over the 2 roundabouts, until you reach a junction with traffic lights - swing sharp R (almost back on yourself) onto Rugby Rd - continue along until you reach a mini roundabout - go straight over onto Lillington Avenue - at the traffic lights turn R onto Kenilworth Road - at the end turn R onto Clarendon Avenue - at the end turn L onto Dale St - take the 4th L back onto Dormer Place and run back into the park. *7K option - continue past the park and cross over the Parade onto Newbold Terrace - at the end turn L onto Willes Road - continue along and go straight over the traffic lights - keep running until you reach the junction for the Parade (by Boots) - turn L onto The Parade and then run down back to the park.
