Our Calorie Calculator estimates how many Calories you will burn using Metabolic Equivalent (MET) values from Compendium of Physical Activities. The Compendium idenitifes the relative energy cost of undertaking various activities compared with doing nothing. We then combine this with your weight and the estimated duration of the activity, taking into account the length of the route and the hills involved, to estimate the total Calories burned.
When selecting an Activity setting, select the speed you would normally travel at on flat ground.
Please remember, the estimated number of Calories is just a guide and the actual number of Calories burned may vary depending on other factors such as weather and terrain.

Start headed east on Main Street
Left on Elm Tree (Or could be Esplanade, Deweese or MLK to get proper mileage)
LEFT on Short
RIGHT on Market
RIGHT on Third

Left on East Main Street with "Out and Back" (Turnaround somewhere in front of or past Shriners Hospital)
Return west on Main Street (in the outbound traffic lane) to the finish line.
Route takes out Vine Street completely and opens that up for traffic between Broadway and Old Vine.
Route puts start/finish (and race energy/focus) all at one location.
Inbound Winchester Road traffic can be diverted onto 3rd then detour to northern cross streets.
Route brings runners back near S/F area and 5th/3rd Pavilion about 1 mile into the race for crowd support/spectator friendly.
