Some muddy spots, a few gates, mainly quiet lanes and woodlands
Approx 1.15-1.30 depending on how good your horse is with gates

Park in layby at Luckwell Bridge
Cross the main road by The Old Inn on the corner and follow Long Lane (track) to the lane at the top.
Turn right along lane (do not continue over to the next track)
Follow lane to end and turn right onto road
Follow road to end and turn left down Drapers Way
Follow the steep hill for approx. 1/2 mile, pass the first bridleway on the left and take the second bridleway on left.
Go through gate, follow track until next gate.
Just after gate there is a track to the left going up hill, take this track.
Follow this track upwards (good place for a canter if you would like) until it eventually meets another track (bridleway).
Turn right (another good place for a canter) and follow this track until you go through two more gates and meet the road.
Turn right along road, take first left along the lane and then first left again down the track you came up earlier.

    CALCULATE CALORIES

    About the Calorie Calculator

Our Calorie Calculator estimates how many Calories you will burn using Metabolic Equivalent (MET) values from Compendium of Physical Activities. The Compendium idenitifes the relative energy cost of undertaking various activities compared with doing nothing. We then combine this with your weight and the estimated duration of the activity, taking into account the length of the route and the hills involved, to estimate the total Calories burned.

When selecting an Activity setting, select the speed you would normally travel at on flat ground.

Please remember, the estimated number of Calories is just a guide and the actual number of Calories burned may vary depending on other factors such as weather and terrain.
