    The 5KM course starts in Riverway Precinct on the paths under the trees about 120metres east of the finish area (near the playground).
    Head West towards the entrance into Riverway at the junction of Village Blvd and Sporting Drive keeping the swimming pool and the riverway building on your left. At that junction, turn right heading down the paths on Sporting Drive (STAY ON THE PATHS AND NOT THE ROAD UNTIL DIRECTED). At about the 600M go onto the road at the junction and follow Sporting Drive down the left hand side and going around the roundabout at the end of Sporting drive and coming back keeping on the paths with the Stadium fence on your left. Follow these paths back past the finishing chute and head down to the weir to cross Federation Footbridge. Once you cross Federation Footbridge, turn right and follow the paths through to Vickers Bridge passing a Water Stop about 2.5k in. Turn right at Vickers Bridge to cross the bridge then right again to head back to Riverway. After you pass the Itara Apartments, veer left onto the path and follow it around to the right heading toward the oval side of the Riverway Centre through to the finishing chute.
    5KM RUNNERS WILL ENTER THE FINISHING CHUTE ON THE LEFT SIDE. The right side is for the 10km runners - WRONG SIDE = WRONG RACE RESULT.
    STAY IN FINISHING ORDER UNTIL YOUR BIB NO. IS RECORDED.
