Our Calorie Calculator estimates how many Calories you will burn using Metabolic Equivalent (MET) values from Compendium of Physical Activities. The Compendium idenitifes the relative energy cost of undertaking various activities compared with doing nothing. We then combine this with your weight and the estimated duration of the activity, taking into account the length of the route and the hills involved, to estimate the total Calories burned.
When selecting an Activity setting, select the speed you would normally travel at on flat ground.
Please remember, the estimated number of Calories is just a guide and the actual number of Calories burned may vary depending on other factors such as weather and terrain.

The nearly 12-mile bike course is the same as 2018. Not completely flat, but fairly fast. There is one moderate hill to sprint up and the declines will give your legs a good rest and reset. This is NOT a Closed course so follow all the traffic laws, ride safe, have fun, and be careful on there course. Safety personnel include the Country Sheriff, the Lacey Police Department, a team of flaggers and volunteers. Joy Ride Bicycles will be available for bike maintenance and support prior to and during the race. There is no bike drop the night before, T1 opens at 05:30 Race Day.

Event Start time: 8AM.
Swim Cut off: 8:35.
Bike Cut off: 10:15
Run Cut off and Course Closure: 11:00
The course is not a closed course; however, Carpenter Road will have a temporary 1 lane closure to accommodate cyclist and runners. This lane modification will end at the race cut off time. Cyclist are required to obey all traffic laws and take direction from traffic control officers. Safety for our participants, volunteers and staff is our priority. There are strict no passing zones, and there are areas where passing or aggressive riding is discouraged.
