    Take the ferry from the western shore of the River Hamble to Warsash.

    Once across the river Hamble make your way south past Strawberry Field and the Warsash Maritime Academy and continue the route through the Hook and Warsash Nature Reserve which is home to a variety of regionally rare and declining habitats.

    At Titchfield Haven National Nature Reserve the reedbeds, saltings and marshes attract rare and varied birds. Equipped with hides, a tea room and a visitor centre the Reserve has a high reputation for bird watching.

    Take a well deserved break at the Salterns Park just past the Seafarers Sailing Club.
