From Cleveland Dam head West on the Baden Powell trail up through the British Properties to Millstream Rd/Craigmohr Dr.
Continue straight on the Baden Powell trail across Millstream Rd., up the stairs, and continue for another 15-30 minutes to the lower Brother's Creek bridge and waterfall.
Cross the bridge, continuing on the Baden Powell trail for another 5 minutes or so until you come to a wide gravel road.
Go right and uphill (still on the Baden Powell trail) for another couple of minutes until the road re-enters the woods at a junction with the Skyline/Trans-Canada trail.
Go left onto Skyline trail, following the trail down into a ravine, crossing Lawson Creek, and back out of the ravine on the other side. After another five minutes or so you'll come out under some power lines.
After a couple of minutes under the power lines, go left onto Brewis trail (shortly before this turn you'll go past a Trans-Canada Trail sign-post). Follow Brewis down, down, down until you come out to a fire access road. This is the Millstream fire access road.
Go right following the fire access road for 10-20 minutes until the road turns into a trail into the woods. Follow the trail for another 5-10 minutes, crossing a large creek via an interesting wooden bridge, and you'll arrive at the paved Cypress Road.
Turn left and follow the trail along the concrete barriers and head over to the lookout and enjoy the view.
Retrace your steps from the lookout back to Cleveland Dam.

    Short Return option:
Retrace your steps from the lookout to the bottom of Brewis trail.
Continue straight on the Millstream fire access road (instead of turning left up Brewis) for another 10-15 minutes until you come out to the paved Millstream Rd.
Go left up the hill on Millstream and continue following Millstream Rd. for anther 10-20 minutes until you come back to an intersection with the Baden Powell trail (at the metal gate by the hydro substation).
Go right, following the Baden Powell trail back to Cleveland Dam.

    CALCULATE CALORIES

    About the Calorie Calculator

Our Calorie Calculator estimates how many Calories you will burn using Metabolic Equivalent (MET) values from Compendium of Physical Activities. The Compendium idenitifes the relative energy cost of undertaking various activities compared with doing nothing. We then combine this with your weight and the estimated duration of the activity, taking into account the length of the route and the hills involved, to estimate the total Calories burned.

When selecting an Activity setting, select the speed you would normally travel at on flat ground.

Please remember, the estimated number of Calories is just a guide and the actual number of Calories burned may vary depending on other factors such as weather and terrain.
