    De route start rustig op de top van de Cauberg. Alle tijd om de benen op te warmen. Pas over de grens in de Belgische Voerstreek staan de eerste twee hindernissen op het programma: de Kloosterhofweg en Mabrouck, echte lopers. Hierna daal je af naar de Abdij van Val-Dieu, waar nog steeds het gelijknamige speciaalbier wordt gebrouwen. Verder gaat het naar de Mur de Grises Pierres, een klim die je niet snel zult vergeten; de hellingspercentages komen binnen als een sloopkogel. Eenmaal boven begeef je je in een gebied met autoluwe, bijna on-Belgisch goede wegen. Na 50 km kom je aan bij de grootste uitdaging van de dag: Les Waides. Met een lengte van 2,5 km en hellingspercentages die in de dubbele cijfers lopen is dit een formidabele tegenstander. Bovenop geniet je van één van de mooiste vergezichten van deze regio. Hierna is het uitbollen richting Zuid-Limburg. Er wordt nog twee keer geklommen, waarna er niets meer tussen jou en de finishlijn op de top van de Cauberg staat!
