    Along Stockport road, past the Rising Sun, cross over and bear left up Quick Road

    To the end past the White Heart, at the main junction cross over along Platting lane to the end

    At the junction at the end of Platting Lane turn right all the way down Oldham road until you reach Delph new Cross Roads

    Here turn right along Delph new road ( passing Frescas Italian ) continue until you reach the mini round a bout near what used to be the Woolpack pub, bear right here towards Dob Cross and past New Bank Garden Centre.
    the the next junction (roundabout) turn left which takes you onto wool road carry on up a short climb taking a right turn towards Diggle (passing the famous chippy) continue along here and turn right up Sam Road 
    To the top of Sam Road and onto right onto the canal which is at the Stannage tunnel.
    continue along the canal all the way to Uppermill High Street, exiting just after the museum.
    Heading right and then left down Chapel Road
    Left at the bottom of Chapel Road onto Chew Valley Road to the Clarence round a bout and heading along Manchester Road to the Royal George.
    At the Royal George onto the bridle path all the way to the end exiting onto Station road,
    up Egmont Street, right onto Manchester Road and then Right down Waggon Road
    turn left onto Audley Street entering the canal heading towards 3 Counties
    come off at 3 counties along Manchester Road finishing at the bottom of Stamford Road
