Left home at 10.00hrs and headed to All Saints Church, Market Weighton, via Dunnington, Stamford Bridge, Pocklington, Burnby, Where I caught up with Derek and Graham, closely followed by Eamon, then on to Market Weighton. Where along with the aforementioned, Andrew Richardson and Keith Wells were in attendance. We ate our picnic next to the Londesborough Hotel, as it was a bit sunnier there and slightly protected from the wind. Although, I was feeling cold, which is unusual for me. After saying our goodbyes. I headed off to find the start of the Market Weighton to Bubwith Rail Trail. I left it at Foggathorpe and my bike was less messy than I had thought it would be. I then headed home via Laytham, Aughton, Ellerton, East Cottingwith and Storwood, each of which I explored, then on to Sutton upon Derwent, Elvington, Wheldrake, Escrick, Naburn, Bishopthorpe and home. Arriving home feeling quite tired at 16.00hrs. I didn't feel that I had got much tailwind.

    CALCULATE CALORIES

    About the Calorie Calculator

Our Calorie Calculator estimates how many Calories you will burn using Metabolic Equivalent (MET) values from Compendium of Physical Activities. The Compendium idenitifes the relative energy cost of undertaking various activities compared with doing nothing. We then combine this with your weight and the estimated duration of the activity, taking into account the length of the route and the hills involved, to estimate the total Calories burned.

When selecting an Activity setting, select the speed you would normally travel at on flat ground.

Please remember, the estimated number of Calories is just a guide and the actual number of Calories burned may vary depending on other factors such as weather and terrain.
