Our Calorie Calculator estimates how many Calories you will burn using Metabolic Equivalent (MET) values from Compendium of Physical Activities. The Compendium idenitifes the relative energy cost of undertaking various activities compared with doing nothing. We then combine this with your weight and the estimated duration of the activity, taking into account the length of the route and the hills involved, to estimate the total Calories burned.
When selecting an Activity setting, select the speed you would normally travel at on flat ground.
Please remember, the estimated number of Calories is just a guide and the actual number of Calories burned may vary depending on other factors such as weather and terrain.

From the City Hall Parking Lot, walk past Victoria Park, cross Dundonald Street, along Washington Street (past Mount Saint Agnes School), and over to Laffan Street. At the Canal Street roundabout turn right, cross Cedar Avenue and walk along Angle Street, cross Court Street, turning right onto King Street. Walk down King Street, turning left onto Curving Avenue and follow it to Parson’s Road. Cross over to Glebe Road, and walk over to North Shore Road, via Band Room Lane. Turn left onto North Shore Road and walk through to Berkeley Road. Turn left here and go over the hill, then turn right onto St. John’s Road, then turning left onto Pitts Bay Road. Turn left at Fairylands Road, right onto Rosemont Avenue then back to your starting point via Church Street.
