Parking in the Glen cp off Pittencrieff St the route takes off west from the traffic lights towards Crossford. Once on Urquhart Cut take a left at Urquhart Farm and follow the track in a U-fashion to emerge on to the Main Rd on the eastern outskirts of Crossford. Go left here and continue straight on through Crossford to the eastern outskirts of Cairnyhill. Take the track going right here which is now the Fife Pilgrim Way (Hilton Rd) and follow past a collection of cottages to reach Hilton House (avoid running past the house by using the bypass path). Continue straight on to pass some Farm buildings before emerging on to Lundin Rd. Cross straight over onto Kirkwood Crescent and once on Knockhouse Gardens take a left (going north) to reach Knockhouse Farm where a right will take you on to Berrylaw Rd (narrow and often muddy path) straight on to William St. Continue on the FPW to cross over William St onto Cameron St which should be followed to Maitland St. Go right here to cross over Pittencrief St to enter the Glen. Continue until the first path right which will take you back to the cp.

    CALCULATE CALORIES

    About the Calorie Calculator

Our Calorie Calculator estimates how many Calories you will burn using Metabolic Equivalent (MET) values from Compendium of Physical Activities. The Compendium idenitifes the relative energy cost of undertaking various activities compared with doing nothing. We then combine this with your weight and the estimated duration of the activity, taking into account the length of the route and the hills involved, to estimate the total Calories burned.

When selecting an Activity setting, select the speed you would normally travel at on flat ground.

Please remember, the estimated number of Calories is just a guide and the actual number of Calories burned may vary depending on other factors such as weather and terrain.
