    Route takes the most direct combination of paths over Holt Lowes and Holt Country Park. There are numerous options here, so some basic navigation can avoid any unwanted detours from the 10 miles walk.

    From Corpusty village green cross the Bure at the watermill and turn right into Post Office Lane. Cross the bypass (with care) to follow Monk's Lane, which soon bears hard left to climb up to cross the Aylsham Road into Strawberry Lane to a very short section on the Matlaske Road before keeping left into Watery Lane (track).
    From there, just keep an eye on the Directions.

    About 8.2 miles - cross stile and turn left before bearing gradually right, descending to:

    8.5 miles - Left through gate passing pond.

    Stay south east and east of car park to turn left into Hempstead Road at 9.3 miles.

    9.5 miles - underpass into Holt town.
