Our Calorie Calculator estimates how many Calories you will burn using Metabolic Equivalent (MET) values from Compendium of Physical Activities. The Compendium idenitifes the relative energy cost of undertaking various activities compared with doing nothing. We then combine this with your weight and the estimated duration of the activity, taking into account the length of the route and the hills involved, to estimate the total Calories burned.
When selecting an Activity setting, select the speed you would normally travel at on flat ground.
Please remember, the estimated number of Calories is just a guide and the actual number of Calories burned may vary depending on other factors such as weather and terrain.

This is the route you will take to run the 3.8 portion of the relay. Since you are first up, the relay change off point is at the start/finish line. Water will be at the 1.72 mile marker in a cooler with an MRTT banner w/balloons. You will need to run an additional .35 miles before you can turn around.
When returning back to the start line make sure you do not miss the sidewalk entrance into Gemini Springs. Run that down the sidewalk and cross over to your left on the side walk across the road. Run the sidewalk until you reach the entrance of Oak Tree and make a left to the finish line were your medal and swag bag will be ready for your pick-up. Run on all paved/sidewalk paths on the Spring-to-Spring trail and the sidewalks within Gemini Springs Park.
