Our Calorie Calculator estimates how many Calories you will burn using Metabolic Equivalent (MET) values from Compendium of Physical Activities. The Compendium idenitifes the relative energy cost of undertaking various activities compared with doing nothing. We then combine this with your weight and the estimated duration of the activity, taking into account the length of the route and the hills involved, to estimate the total Calories burned.
When selecting an Activity setting, select the speed you would normally travel at on flat ground.
Please remember, the estimated number of Calories is just a guide and the actual number of Calories burned may vary depending on other factors such as weather and terrain.

From the parking lot of the Mullet Bay Playground, walk across the field to the steps leading to Wellington Slip Road, then turn right to walk around the cricket oval. Cross the main road leading into St. George’s and walk up Wellington Hill. Turn right onto Wellington Back Road and walk along Suffering Lane to its terminus at the junction with Khyber Pass. Turn right here then follow the cart path on your left across the golf course, joining up with Somner Lane on your left. Walk up Somner Lane then turn right onto Secretary Road, which becomes Park Road, then left onto Naval Tanks Hill.
Turn left and walk down Tanks Hill and follow it (it becomes Coot Pond Road and Barry Road) past the St. Regis Hotel. Follow Barry Road along the eastern coast, to Town Cut. Continue along Cut Road and down Barrack Hill, into St. George’s. Walk through the old town, along Duke of York St, Wellington Street and Mullet Bay Road, back to your starting point at the Mullet Bay Playground.
