    Carrying on from the end of point 1 in Chester to just outside the village of Tiverton. Tiverton is conveniently located for a bus back towards Chester or on to Nantwich or Crewe in the other direction. Two canalside pubs near either end are listed for refreshments, The Cheshire Cat after around 3km and The Shady Oak around the 15km point. Others may be available if you are prepared to deviate further from the canal such as The Black Dog in Waverton after the 5km point but this is almost a 1km walk away from the tow path. There is a cafe at Tattenhall Marina around the 11km point.
