Jog to Water Meadow car park then jog 2 internal perimeter circuits of carpark prior to drills and strides. I mile loop out of car park turn left into Church St, left into Way Lane then cross Germain St. along footpath to join Amy Lane then left at roundabout onto Amersham Rd - Red Lion St, then left into Germain St and right into Watermeadow (1 mile ) then continue onto a second lap (0.5m) but instead of running along footpath across Germain St, turn left into Germain St and then left into Watermeadow to complete 1.5 mile rep. Recovery jog - 4 laps of perimeter of Watermeadow car park.
Repeat 4 times. 6 miles of effort at a target pace of 10 secs quicker than chosen marathon target pace. Cool down jog to Church hall, please accomplish light stretches when time permits. Some sections of the route will require single file running due to the narrowness of the footpath (Church Street), as always give way to vehicles and pedestrians. A head or body torch would be advisable as well as fluorescent clothing.

    CALCULATE CALORIES

    About the Calorie Calculator

Our Calorie Calculator estimates how many Calories you will burn using Metabolic Equivalent (MET) values from Compendium of Physical Activities. The Compendium idenitifes the relative energy cost of undertaking various activities compared with doing nothing. We then combine this with your weight and the estimated duration of the activity, taking into account the length of the route and the hills involved, to estimate the total Calories burned.

When selecting an Activity setting, select the speed you would normally travel at on flat ground.

Please remember, the estimated number of Calories is just a guide and the actual number of Calories burned may vary depending on other factors such as weather and terrain.
