    On leaving Holmbridge the route climbs up to Hogley Green and then across the valley to Upperthong. It continues to follow field paths and the Holme Valley Circular Walk to Netherthong and descends to the River Holme via Deanhouse. A further climb again from Brockholes to the hamlet of Biggin and then descends to cross the valley again up to Wooldale and Cliff. It finally descends into Holmfirth before a short climb take you below Cartworth and along the valley side back to Holmbridge.
    This walk is strenuous in parts but offers good views of the Holme Valley.
