• Lord Sheldon Way direction Droylsden all the way to the Snipe
• Opposite Retail Park, turn right onto narrow track
• Follow (more or less) straight ahead until reaching Moorside St
OPTIONS:
Shorter
• On emerging from the park path, turn right then immediately swing 90deg left onto Littlemoss Rd
• Follow Littlemoss Rd ( becomes Lumb Lane) until road crosses over the M60
• Just after crossing the motorway, find a wide dirt track on the right (this is where the 2 options re-merge)
Longer
• On emerging from the park path, cross directly over the road to take the park path continuation
• Follow down then up until reaching a path crossroads at a small footbridge
• Turn right to cross the footbridge
• Follow path until reaching a small road.
• Cross over and continue on canal towpath unti reaching Stannybrook Rd
• Turn right uphill here then continue right onto Lumb Lane
• Shortly , look for a wide dirt track on the left (this is where the 2 options re-merge)
Common
• Both routes continue as follows:
• Follow track unti reaching a T-junction with a motorway bridge on your right
• Go left instead, following the track until reaching Richmond St
• Follow all the way to the end at Lord Sheldon Way
• Left and follow Lord Sheldon Way back to the start
