    1 day excursion for fit people, take plenty of water on hot days as lots of hills in first half of walk then down hill and flat for rest of walk. Plenty of places to stop and admire view, some fields sometimes have cows loose in walking area. Option to stop at Devils Dyke mile 3 for toilets and refreshments which are also available at mile 5 YHA Truleigh hill and mile 9.75 Red Lion Pub further along rout. Option to catch an hourly number 2 bus from bottom of chalk hill on Shoreham road after mile 7 or from Red Lion around mile 9.75 and get off bus at Hangleton Links road near end of walk around mile 13.4 then walk back to car park where there are more toilets.
