    De Walser Ultra-Trail is een alpine uitdaging voor ervaren trailrunners. 63 kilometer en 3.900 hoogtemeters.

    De Walser Ultra-Trail begint in Hirschegg. Van hieruit gaat het via de wijken Außerwald en Wäldele omhoog naar Küren en het Gottesacker-plateau. Over de Hohen Ifen naar het Schwarzwassertal en verder naar de Auenhütte. Vervolgens gaat het over een kort stuk grindpad naar de Obere Walmendinger Alpe en de Walmendingerhorn. Via de Lüchlealpe en de Stierhofalpen richting Grünhorn. Het pad van Grünhorn naar Starzeljoch is blootgesteld. Via haarspeldbochten daalt u af naar het Starzeltal (Duratal) en via een grindpad naar Baad.

    Vanaf hier verder op het parcours van de Walser Trail: door het Bärgunttal, langs de Bärgunthütte omhoog naar de Widdersteinhütte aan de voet van de grote Widderstein. Van hier via de Gemstelkoblat naar de Mindelheimerhütte en over de Krumbacher Höhenweg naar de Fiderescharte. Van daaruit gaat het bergafwaarts richting de Fiderepasshütte. Lange afdaling langs Wannenalp naar de binnenste Kuhgehrenalp. Van daaruit afdaling via de Brand-Alpe naar het Hirschegger stadsdeel Nebenwasser en terug naar Hirschegg.
