Our Calorie Calculator estimates how many Calories you will burn using Metabolic Equivalent (MET) values from Compendium of Physical Activities. The Compendium idenitifes the relative energy cost of undertaking various activities compared with doing nothing. We then combine this with your weight and the estimated duration of the activity, taking into account the length of the route and the hills involved, to estimate the total Calories burned.
When selecting an Activity setting, select the speed you would normally travel at on flat ground.
Please remember, the estimated number of Calories is just a guide and the actual number of Calories burned may vary depending on other factors such as weather and terrain.

Start the the bowls/tennis courts area and head out of the park along Archery road. Turn left onto dale street and head all the way up until you reach the roundabout by the binswood shops. Turn right onto Lillington Avenue and the left onto Kenilworth Road. Turn left again onto Northumberland Avenue, straight over the roundabout and and past the binswood shops, back down Dale Street and right onto Archery road before completing a lap of Victoria park for 5KM
Head back out of the park down Archery Road and right onto Dale street. Take a left onto Avenue Road and continue straight, past the assembly and turn right onto Bath street, take another right and the end and head towards the train station. Turn right again before you reach the train station and continue here until the end making a left turn back onto Avenue Road. Turn left onto Dale Street and back the way you came to get back into Victoria Park. - 2KM LOOP
