    About

    A hard solo trip in the Hunua Ranges. Tracks not well maintained. Views over firth of thames Waharau side and good view of Dams and Auckland from Ernies Trig.No views on Pukapuka track.
    Water at 1000 Acre, Piggots Hut, Mangatangi Dam(w/c) NO water on Pukapuka Track
    Day 1 : Start Waharau Regional Park. Waharau ridge track to Thousand Acre Campsite
    Day 2 : Continue on Kohukohunui Trig Track onto Upper Mangatangi Track to Ernies Track. down to Piggots Hut Then via Libourn rd to Pukapuka Track through to Mangitangi Reservoir.
