Our Calorie Calculator estimates how many Calories you will burn using Metabolic Equivalent (MET) values from Compendium of Physical Activities. The Compendium idenitifes the relative energy cost of undertaking various activities compared with doing nothing. We then combine this with your weight and the estimated duration of the activity, taking into account the length of the route and the hills involved, to estimate the total Calories burned.
When selecting an Activity setting, select the speed you would normally travel at on flat ground.
Please remember, the estimated number of Calories is just a guide and the actual number of Calories burned may vary depending on other factors such as weather and terrain.

Start at the bottom of Archery Road by the Victoria Park Gates. Run up Archery Road past the Cricketers and turn right up Adelaide Road to the roundabout. Turn left down Avenue Road and turn left at Viallis. Cross over the road and turn right onto Priory Terrace, past the post office, take the first left onto the suspension bridge. Continue up the path heading towards the Spa Centre and turn left onto Newbold Terrace. Continue along the road and cross over to the Pump Room Gardens. Head towards the Bandstand and towards the footbridge, cross over the river and follow the path with the river on your right. Carry on the footpath underneath Adelaide Road straight on past the café, turn left and left again heading towards the Archery Road Gates and to the Cricketers.
