    Starting from the car park of the Golden Cock pub. On leaving the car park the walk exits the village down the track next to the church, across field paths to Height Green and descending to Brockholes Station before climbing to Cliff Top, West Wood, High Royd Farm and Stirley Knoll before lunch at Hall Bower. The walk returns to Farnley Tyas via New Laithe Hill, Ashes Common, Wheat Royd, Bank Foot and Farnley Bank.
