• Leave canal at Guide Bridge
• Cross Guide Lane & continue direction Audenshaw
• Left onto Audenshaw Rd
• Continue straight on at mini-roundabout
• Pass resers on left then crossing motorway & railway
• At end, cross over then go left and immediately right on Ashton Hill Lane
• At the top of the hill, take steps (on left) down onto canal towpath
• Go right direction Ashton
• Follow all the way back to Portland Basin
