    This is the first Dragon of the 2109 Season. It is being held with the I Love You Mom 5K. This ~7 Mile run or walk gives you great views of the south sound through the Beautiful Town of Steilacoom. We have modified our run just slightly, so it is another great run, however, it is much more accommodating to people we love to have participate! That includes mothers and fathers with strollers, pets who wish to run their masters, athletics with physical challenges, walkers, and all others who want to participate in a great run.
    We start the run at 8AM, Pioneer Orchard Park. Participants will run or walk south, towards the Ferry dock. Then the route crosses and heads up Union Ave. Turn right on Lafayette Street. Take 6th, Martin, 2nd and all the way up 1St Street, to the Multi-use Public Trail to Cormorant Park. This is the only “off road area”. It is wide and accommodating to all participants. Cormorant Park is the 5K Turnaround Point. We will have refreshments and snacks there. The Dragon 7 miler continues to the Chapman Loop at Cormorant Park. Dragon runners "get" to do the loop TWICE! Save your energy because on the way back to the finish line there's quite a nasty hill at the end! But you got this! Bring it home and collect your medal!
